- Helping to keep the OALC website up to date.
- Preparing and sharing news, updates and information with our members.
- Assisting with the organisation of meetings, training and events.
- Providing general administrative support to the team.
- Helping with other tasks as and when required.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Is confident using computers and social media.
- Has good IT skills and is willing to learn new systems.
- Can write clearly and communicate information in an engaging way.
- Is organised and has good attention to detail.
- Is friendly, reliable and happy to get stuck in and help with whatever the team needs.
- Can work independently but enjoys being part of a small team.
- Has an interest in local government and the work of town and parish councils.
- Has the flexibility to work additional hours when required, particularly around events and busy periods.
Previous experience isn't essential. We're more interested in finding someone with enthusiasm, good communication skills, digital confidence and a willingness to learn.
