Preparing for Year End & Audit (online)

This training session will look at the statutory requirements for parish and town councils completing their year end accounts.

Topics covered will include –

• Understanding the responsibilities of both the Clerk/RFO and the Council

• Who is responsible and accountable for what?

• Time frames to comply with the reporting requirements

• Types of control/audit

• Current assurance audits

• Annual Governance and Accountability Return 2025-26

• Transparency requirements

This will be delivered as blended learning, with a presentation to watch at a time to suit you, followed by a one-hour question and answer session.
