Operation London Bridge outlines the national and local actions that must take place following the death of the Sovereign. This training session equips parish and town councils with the knowledge and practical steps needed to fulfil their ceremonial and community responsibilities with confidence and sensitivity.
Participants will learn the required protocols, local activation procedures, communication expectations, roles for councillors and staff, and how to support residents during the mourning period. The session provides clear guidance and best-practice examples to ensure your council is fully prepared to respond with dignity, accuracy, and professionalism.
The session will last from 10:00am - 11:00am.
