JOB DESCRIPTION ADMIN AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT
Fixed Term position (6 Months)

Proposed start date: As soon as possible

Interview date: Wednesday 10th December 2025

 

Reporting to: The Deputy Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer

 

Hours: Part time, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Total: 22.5 hours

 

Grade/Salary: SCP 7-12 [£26,403 – 28,598 FTE)

Location: Chipping Norton Town Hall or The Guildhall

Job Summary:

  • to provide efficient administrative and clerical support to the Council’s Management team.

  • to manage reception and deal with telephone/email and face to face enquiries.

  • to provide cover for the Cemeteries Officer as required ensuring compliance with the necessary legislation.
